Destination briefing

Why travelers stop here

Sagajeong Park is a park that opened on April 13, 2005, at the entrance of the Myeonmok Yaksuteo District in Myeonmok-dong. The park's name was derived from the pen name of Seo Geo-jeong, a literary figure from the early Joseon Dynasty who lived near Yongmasan Mountain. Additionally, four of his representative poems were selected and erected as poetry monuments, allowing park visitors to enjoy famous poetry while taking a walk. The park is equipped with various rest facilities, exercise facilities, and landscaping facilities, including a picnic area, children's playground, fitness equipment, a natural stream, Sagajeong (traditional pavilion), a multipurpose plaza, and a streamside rest area, making it a high-quality and pleasant resting space for residents and a landmark of Jungnang-gu.
