Seongbuk Media Culture Maru is a complex cultural facility established by Seoul Metropolitan Government and Seongbuk-gu to provide cultural complex facilities such as a library, performance hall, and swimming pool for local residents in the northeastern area of Seoul, which lacks basic convenience facilities. It was designed as a media hub space capable of media education and startup support in line with the trend of the era where the importance of media is rising. The facility spans from basement level 2 to ground level 4, with a total floor area of 9,484㎡. On basement level 1, there is a sports facility (Mulbit Swimming Pool); from ground level 1 to 3, there is a public library (Geulbit Library) and the Seoul Citizens' Media Center; and on ground level 4, there is a performance hall (Kkumbit Theater) with approximately 320 seats.
