COEX East Plaza

This refers to the long plaza along the sidewalk starting from Samsung Station's Trade Tower (Korea World Trade Center), passing through the COEX Convention Center, and extending to the ASEM Tower. The east plaza is also called COEX Urban Park, where various events such as K-pop concerts and outdoor film festivals are held frequently throughout the year. This COEX area is the filming location of K-Pop 'Gangnam Style,' which sparked a global horse dance craze and introduced Gangnam to the world. As a Gangnam Style landmark, a 5m high, 8m wide bronze 'Horse Dance' sculpture emphasizing the global mindset of 'The World is One' has been installed, drawing attention as a world-class tourist attraction.
