Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education Nowon Lifelong Learning Center

Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education Nowon Lifelong Learning Center opened as Junggye Library in 1990 and served as a public library. It was reorganized as Junggye Lifelong Learning Center on July 16, 1999, and changed its name to Nowon Lifelong Learning Center in 2007. It connects and integrates human and material resources of the local community, positioning itself as a lifelong learning center for the growth and development of individuals and communities, and as a hub of a vibrant practice community that creates value beyond collecting, providing, and accumulating information. Through open reading rooms and various lifelong learning classrooms, it connects and integrates knowledge and global information, serving as a space where lifelong education begins as a local learning community that shares useful information. It has a periodicals room where books can be borrowed, and as a lifelong learning center, it offers spaces such as lecture rooms, seminar rooms, and reading discussion rooms for various learning activities.
