Art Space 3

Art Space 3 is a gallery that introduces original and innovative Korean contemporary art works. The number '3' signifies the pursuit of harmony and balance among three groups: artists, viewers, and the gallery. Starting in Insa-dong and moving to Seochon in 2018, it has mainly held exhibitions that highlight the current state of Korean contemporary art, such as the abstract art planning exhibition <Those Who See This Think That>, <New Works by Young Craftsmen, Craftsmanship>, and <Colorful Korean Painting – From Harmony to Purification>. The main exhibition hall, featuring both white walls and cement walls, has ceilings of varying heights (4m and 8m) designed to enable interesting exhibitions. The space connected to the main exhibition hall in a duplex structure also contains a relic exhibition room where you can see residential forms from the 16th century Joseon Dynasty. This separate exhibition room was created to display residential remains and artifacts from the Joseon period to modern times excavated during the building's construction, resulting in a unique space where cutting-edge contemporary art and old cultural heritage coexist.
