Why travelers stop here
Gallery La Mer, true to its name 'La Mer,' embraces a wide range of art genres and aims to lead the dissemination of art culture that naturally permeates daily life. Since opening in October 2001 as the largest private gallery in Korea (total area of 300 pyeong), it has presented diverse curated exhibitions and high-quality rental exhibitions. Through various exhibitions that offer a view of rapidly changing contemporary art, as well as innovative curated exhibitions that interpret our emotions and aesthetics in a modern way, it contributes to establishing the identity of Korean art and popularizing it. Additionally, through various artist support programs such as The Artist Project, curated competitions, and the La Mer Emerging Artist Creative Support Program (Art Daum) held annually, it strives to re-examine established mid-career artists and support the creative activities of distinctive emerging artists.
