Amorepacific Museum of Art

The Amorepacific Museum of Art is an art museum that changed its name in 2009 from the museum that displayed artworks collected by the late founder Suh Sung-hwan of Amorepacific to the Amorepacific Museum of Art (APMA). It was established with the aim of being 'an open space for discovering beauty in everyday life' and to communicate with the public. In line with this purpose, it collects, researches, and exhibits Korean traditional art and contemporary art from Korea and abroad, and supports related researchers, academic societies, and young artists. The basement level 1 exhibition hall hosts diverse special exhibitions encompassing traditional art, contemporary art, and Korean art. The large space 'Atrium' extending from the 1st to 3rd floors features the museum lobby, a museum shop, the exhibition space 'APMA Cabinet', and the world exhibition catalog library (apLAP) on the 1st floor. The museum is located on the 1st floor of the new headquarters building of Amorepacific, a representative architectural landmark in Yongsan, designed with a white porcelain motif.
