Eunpyeong Cultural Center

Eunpyeong Cultural Center was established to satisfy the cultural needs of local residents through distinctive traditional culture and various cultural projects of the Eunpyeong area. It aims to create a cultural space that is easily accessible and enjoyable for all residents, shedding new light on Eunpyeong's buried history and enhancing cultural value. A major cultural event hosted here is the Geumam Cultural Arts Festival, which honors the benevolent governance philosophy of King Yeongjo, the 21st monarch of the Joseon Dynasty. This event targets local elementary school students and includes exploration of local cultural heritage and an opportunity to express in writing the humanity embodied in benevolent governance. At the cultural classes of Eunpyeong Cultural Center, known as the 'Evergreen Lectures,' courses such as photography class, beginner English, folk painting, watercolor, Nanta (traditional percussion performance), singing class, calligraphy, and health Tai Chi can be taken.
