Gaya Park, also called Gaya Walking Park, is sometimes referred to as Seossi Park because the Seo family has lived in the area for generations. The park features walking paths, exercise equipment, benches, and various other amenities for relaxation and physical training. It contains a monument commemorating General Yi Jong-mu's conquest of Tsushima Island (Daemado), erected on March 1, 2001. The monument measures 2.5m in height with a base width of 59cm, made of black stone and granite. The lower part is inscribed with the phrase 'Dokdo is our land, Daemado is Korean land.'
