Why travelers stop here
Sojeomgol is the section from Eoreumgol Hobakso to Seoknam Tunnel via Ocheonpyeongbansuk. The name Sojeomgol originated from the fact that horseshoes were sharpened there. In the middle, there is a wide rock called Ocheonpyeongbansuk, so it is also called Ocheonpyeongbansuk Valley. Sojeomgol trekking starts from Baekyeonsa. Sojeomgol, which stretches 4km, is a flat valley path that takes about 2 hours and 30 minutes round trip. Pass the Hobakso fork three-way intersection cloud bridge, go via Ocheonpyeongbansuk, and reach the small park at the entrance of Seoknam Tunnel. The valley is relatively flat and long, with abundant water flow and not many visitors. Especially because it is near Eoreumgol, it is cool even in summer, making it a healing walking path that is relatively easy for beginners to trek. The autumn foliage path in Sojeomgol is especially beautiful, worthy of being on a bucket list.
