Gajinhang

A beautiful port among the east coast harbors<br><br>Gajinhang, which enriches and comforts the heart when you take a quiet walk alone in the morning. It is a relatively large port of a fishing village, beautiful among the east coast harbors where calmness, tranquility, and sometimes roughness coexist.<br>As a fishing village, it has produced more seafood than other fishing ports since ancient times, greatly benefiting the residents' livelihoods. For about 100 years, it was commonly called Deokpo, and later when a small ferry port was added, it was called Gapojin. In 1914, during the reorganization of village names, it was changed to Gajin-ri.<br>Located between Ganseong-eup, you can reach the port via the road from National Route 7 leading to the village, or by passing through Gonghyeonjin Village and using the newly built coastal road (detour) to go directly to the port. To the east lies the East Sea, to the west is Tapdong-ri, Ganseong-eup, to the south is Gonghyeonjin 2-ri, and to the north is Hyangmok-ri.<br><br>[Source: Goseong County Office]
