Gapo Yeongdo Grilled Eel is a popular eel restaurant that operates two locations: the main building, where the sign is located upstairs, and a separate annex that resembles a pension. Previously, both locations had only floor seating, but now the main building offers floor seating where you remove your shoes, while the annex has table seating where you can keep your shoes on. The menu consists of two types: salt-grilled and seasoned grilled eel. For a meal, there are eel rice and noodles. The basic side dishes include fried eel bones, young radish water kimchi, salad, pickled vegetables, ssam-mu (pickled radish wraps), garlic, and ginger. The biggest charm of Gapo Yeongdo Grilled Eel is that the eel comes out grilled on a stone plate, cut into bite-sized pieces for convenient eating. The seasoned grilled eel is not very spicy and has a sweet seasoning, making it suitable for children. Nearby is Masan New Port.
