Georeumi Beach is a place that preserves pristine nature. It was designated as a military zone in the late 1970s, restricting civilian access, and was only lifted from military protection in the mid-1990s, allowing public entry. The beach has very fine and white sand, with well-developed natural sand dunes, which are helpful for children's ecological learning. Additionally, there is a dense natural pine forest nearby, making it suitable for camping and a good summer resort for families. In particular, this place is known as a filming location for dramas and movies such as <Brilliant Dawn>, <Tears of the Dragon>, <The Women's World>, and <Bungee Jumping of Their Own>.
