Established in 2018, Gampo Marine Park is equipped with a coastal deck, a windmill garden, Gampo Port sculptures, and benches, making it a great place for tourists visiting Gampo Port to take a short rest. The Gampo Port breakwater connected to the marine park is a paradise for anglers, and travelers can find a beautiful lighthouse engraved with the three-story stone pagoda of Gameunsa Temple.
Gampo Port, with its 100-year history, has many attractions throughout. It is recommended to visit the raw fish restaurants selling the local specialty, true halibut (chan-gajami), around the port, as well as the Gampo Public Market, which holds a five-day market on the 3rd and 8th of each month.
