Since 2017, the aging port area of Ganggu-an has been redeveloped into an urban waterfront space utilizing the sea, and since March 2023, it has been used as a rest area for citizens and tourists, adjacent to Dipirang, Jungang Market, and Dongpirang, serving as a representative cultural and artistic space in Tongyeong.
