Gangmun Beach is located in Gangmun-dong, and nearby there is a small port called Gangmunhang, where you can enjoy fresh raw fish caught at dawn at the local raw fish restaurants. The area has well-maintained accommodations and is close to Gyeongpo District. At Gangmun Beach, you can take a boat to a spot 5 to 10 minutes away, anchor, and admire the vast underwater scenery at depths of 5 to 30 meters, including natural rocks (bawi), sea anemones, and large fish, making it a popular destination for scuba diving enthusiasts. It also offers underwater diving for newlyweds who want to create lasting memories. Additionally, with Gangmunhang port, 16 fishing boats regularly catch flatfish, rockfish, octopus, clams (jjaebok), sea urchins, sea squirts, sea cucumbers, and more; in spring, they catch halibut, olive flounder, and large clams; in summer and fall, Spanish mackerel; and in winter, black rockfish. Fishing enthusiasts also catch dace and rockfish (nollaegi) at the port.
