Ganguiri Chueotang

Ganguiri Chueotang is a chueotang (loach soup) specialty restaurant that has been introduced as a famous restaurant on various TV programs such as Saengsaeng Jeongbo Tong and Saengbang Song Oneul Jeonyeok. The building, reminiscent of a rural hometown, is densely covered with ivy on its exterior walls, and flowers and trees bloom warmly along the path leading to the entrance. The signature menu, chueotang, is excellent in taste, but as befits a Jeolla-do table, each side dish is impressively full of sincerity. Above all, the pot rice and nurungji (scorched rice) are exceptional, further enhancing the flavor of the menu. As it is renowned as a famous restaurant, there are often waiting times, but seeing the customers who come without minding the long journey will give you an idea why.
