This vast area stretches from Anapji Pond in the east to Gyo-dong in the west, and from the Namcheon Stream south of Wolseong Palace in the south to Cheomseong-ro in front of the Ancient Tombs Park in the north. As this region was the heart of the Silla capital, it contains many important relics such as Wolseong Palace, Anapji Pond, Cheomseongdae Observatory, and Gyerim Forest, as well as dozens of Silla-era tombs concentrated here, including the tomb of King Naemul.
