Gonam Reservoir is a reservoir located in Seongyeon-myeon, Seosan-si, and is also called Seongyeonji. Originally built for agricultural irrigation, it is now also known as a cherry blossom spot in Seosan thanks to the cherry trees planted along the reservoir road. There is a driving course along the reservoir road where you can enjoy cherry blossoms and forsythia flowers. In spring, a cherry blossom festival is held in the Gonam Reservoir area. This event has been voluntarily promoted by local residents since 2017, and the residents themselves have cultivated the area around the 2.1km cherry blossom path along Gonam Reservoir to hold the festival. Also, this place is a popular fishing spot visited by many anglers regardless of the season throughout the year. Gonam Reservoir can be accessed via National Route 29 and 32 through Local Route 634, and the Seohaean Expressway Seosan IC is nearby. Nearby attractions include Seosan Central Lake Park and Seosan Sports Complex.
