Goryeongchon Dwaeji Jjigae Apsan Main Branch

Located at the foot of Apsan Mountain in Daemyeong-dong, Nam-gu, Daegu, Goryeongchon Dwaeji Jjigae Apsan Main Branch is a representative restaurant of Apsan Park, which can be found along the Apsan hiking trail. Its signature dish is undoubtedly the village-style pork stew (chondwaeji jjigae). Sold as a minimum of two servings, the village-style pork stew is made by pre-stir-frying pork, vegetables, and seasonings, then adding broth directly at the table. The stew, made with large cuts of domestic female pork, garlic, chili peppers, green onions, perilla leaves, onions, and mushrooms, boiled with a spicy kick, features an excellent savory and spicy broth. Initially, add dumpling and tofu sides, and when almost finished, add a ramen noodle side with extra broth and seasonings to enjoy the pork stew more richly. As it is located at the entrance of the Apsan hiking trail, public parking lots and its own parking lot are available.
