Gohyang Gul Susan is an oyster specialty restaurant located in the Cheonbuk Oyster Complex near the Hongseong-Boryeong Seawall in Boryeong City. It is known as the oldest establishment in the Cheonbuk Oyster Complex, and it is said that once visited, people become long-time regulars. True to its reputation, it welcomes guests with fresh oysters, friendly service, and the taste of hometown. Gohyang Gul Susan cooks rice and makes kimchi using directly farmed rice and vegetables, and it presses oil and prepares food. Oysters are low in fat and rich in minerals, offering excellent nutrition and flavor. Oysters finish their spawning season by August, begin to fatten in autumn, and reach optimal condition in winter. Every December, it can be enjoyed in connection with the 'Cheonbuk Oyster Festival' held at the Cheonbuk Oyster Complex. Gohyang Gul Susan can be visited via Hongbo-ro from National Route 40, and it is close to Gwangcheon IC on the West Coast Expressway.
