Why travelers stop here
This is a restaurant located at Gomso Salt Field, which produces sun-dried sea salt, and is famous for its salted seafood set meal. The salted seafood from Gomso is made by mixing freshly caught seafood with Gomso sun-dried sea salt and aging it for over a year, so it has little fishy taste and clings smoothly to the palate. The salted seafood set meal includes nine types of salted seafood—squid, freshwater shrimp, clams, small octopus, seasoned raw oysters, beltfish innards, fermented pollock roe, yellow corvina, and herring roe—served with soybean paste stew. Additionally, the generously filled soy sauce marinated crab is also a popular menu item. Even if you order the marinated crab set meal, three types of salted seafood are provided, and if you want to taste more, you can take some from the salted seafood refrigerator in the main hall. Each side dish is so delicious that it is hard to put down your spoon. The restaurant is large enough to accommodate group dining. Nearby attractions include Byeonsanbando National Park, Byeonsan National Recreation Forest, and Gomso Port.
