The '2025 Korea Kimjang Festival' is a nationwide participatory event designed to preserve and spread the culture of Kimjang, which symbolizes Korea's representative food culture and community spirit. It is hosted by the Korea Agro-Fisheries & Food Trade Corporation (aT) and co-organized by the Seoul Metropolitan Government and the Kimchi Association. The festival connects traditional values with modern consumption trends through the sale of kimchi and kimjang ingredients, operation of a master kimchi makers' sales hall, and a kimjang culture promotion pavilion. Additionally, it features kimchi discounts, a direct farm-to-consumer market special sale, celebratory performances, and various experience booths, establishing itself as a kimchi culture festival open to all citizens. This event aims to enhance the competitiveness of the kimchi industry, boost domestic consumption, and contribute to the globalization of Korean cuisine centered on kimchi.
