Why travelers stop here
Neulhaerang Nuri-gil is a 1.3km circular forest trail, built as a barrier-free deck road with a slope of less than 8% throughout the entire section for the mobility-impaired. The elderly, children, and even wheelchair users can enjoy forest bathing with the help of a guardian. Located in Geochang Anti-Aging Healing Land, Neulhaerang Nuri-gil is the longest barrier-free trail in Gyeongnam, situated on the slopes of Udu Mountain (1,046m above sea level), and was created with the theme of healing and recovery using the natural forest environment. It features Korea's first pierless Y-shaped suspension bridge and a barrier-free deck road that allows anyone to walk safely and comfortably. A native plant garden is set against the backdrop of Gyeonam Waterfall, where rare plants can be viewed, and accommodation facilities such as a forest recreation center and forest houses are also available. The surrounding trail offers views of Uisangbong Peak and Bigyesan Mountain, which are as beautiful as a small Geumgangsan due to their奇特 rock peaks.
