Why travelers stop here
Located on a vast 60,000 pyeong site in Seonheul-ri, Jocheon-eup, Jeju City, Jeju Island, Gyeongdeokwon (炅德院) is a tea plantation that produces the highest quality eco-friendly green tea in Korea. Jeju Island maintains an average annual temperature of 16 degrees Celsius and has optimal conditions for green tea cultivation, as the roots rot easily and the soil drains well. The Evergreen Luce Outdoor Garden utilizes small caves created by lava flowing from volcanic eruptions. It features cave ponds, cave bridges, and native Jeju plants and wildflowers. Eve Hall is located in a part of the cave where the ceiling is open. There are cavities all around, with the longest extending over 30 meters. Bats also inhabit this area, and with luck, you can see them directly. Eve Hall can only be accessed by passing through a tunnel-like cave. At the two cave cafes located at the top of Gyeongdeokwon (Green Luce) and the entrance (Eve Hall), natural green tea fermented bread, green tea cookies, green tea muffins, green tea lattes, and natural green tea fermented juice catechin are sold.
