Why travelers stop here
Daebeomnyunsa Temple is located on the low foothills of Hambahksan Mountain, 165 meters above sea level. It is a temple with the largest Amitabha Buddha statue in Gimhae, and its 20-meter-high giant Buddha statue can be easily seen near the West Gimhae IC. Additionally, this temple holds two cultural properties of Gyeongsangnam-do. The "Bulseol Yesusiwangsaeng Chilgyeong," a scripture that explains the merits of the "Yesusiwangsaeng Chiljae" ritual, which allows one to avoid falling into hell after death by performing Buddhist rites in advance to pray for rebirth in the afterlife, and the "Suryuk Mucha Pyeongdeung Jaeui Chwaryo," a Buddhist ritual manual, have been designated as cultural properties of Gyeongsangnam-do as they are recognized as important materials for studying Buddhist scriptures. It is a 20-minute drive from Gimhae International Airport, has ample parking space, and a bus stop is located 30 meters away, providing good accessibility.
