Dongsan Cheongna Hill

Cheongna Hill originated from the early 20th century when Christian missionaries lived here and planted many ivy vines. It is also called Dongsan because it was located east of Dalseong Fortress when that fortress was the center of Daegu. This beautiful garden features houses where former missionaries lived, such as the Chamness House, Switz House, and Blair House, along with the 90 Steps, Daegu March 1st Independence Movement Road, Daegu's first Western apple tree, the monument to Korea's first art song 'Dongmu Saenggak', and Eunhye Garden, a cemetery for missionaries and their families. Additionally, Cheongna Hill is the starting point of Alley Tour Course 2 and is beloved as a drama filming location.<br>
