Myeongdal-ri Mountain Village in Seojong-myeon, Yangpyeong-gun, Gyeonggi-do is located on the ridges of Tongbangsan, Jungmisan, and Yumyeongsan. It is a mountain village created by utilizing the beautiful pine tree valley and a closed school. Surrounded by a pine forest that emits large amounts of phytoncides effective for atopic dermatitis, it is considered an optimal place for atopic treatment. For this reason, it has also been used as an atopic treatment center. Inside the building, there are atopic experience halls, education halls, and healing rooms using eco-friendly materials such as loess and cypress, as well as a restaurant offering organic meals. The forest school built on the site of the former Myeongdal Branch School operates a forest experience school where about 40 children at a time experience nature and the forest, and the loess accommodation facilities are used as lodging for experience tourists.
