Mulsarang Education Farm

Mulsarang Education Farm, located in a small village upstream of Jinyang Lake where otters, a natural monument, reside, has been established and operated as an educational farm to share basic agricultural knowledge with children. It aims to promote the importance of water, natural purification methods and types of pollutants through observation of aquatic plants such as sweet flag and white lotus, and migratory birds in Jinyang Lake including herons, mallards, and swans. Mulsarang Education Farm, as a village enterprise, consistently operates activities for the local community. Based on a clean natural environment and abundant agricultural resources, it has established itself as a hands-on social farm targeting socially vulnerable groups, dementia patients, and others through activities such as vegetable garden cultivation, therapy using seasonal agricultural products, water therapy, linked activities with local senior schools and Gyeongsangnam-do Dementia Wide-Area Center, and care class activities for local children. Experiential activities include making terrariums, decorating mini gardens, napkin art, and seasonal farming experiences, allowing visitors to learn the basics of a healthy life and enjoy the joy of harvesting through this fun field education farm.
