Salgotji Sports Park is located near the confluence of Cheonggyecheon Stream and Jungnangcheon Stream, and is visible from Hanyang University. The park features multi-purpose sports facilities including a dedicated inline skating rink, soccer field, basketball court, and badminton court. Bicycle-only paths and pedestrian walkways are separated around the park. Additionally, walking competitions and half-marathon events are held here throughout the year, and it is a popular spot for cyclists. In the summer, a free water play area is operated. The name 'Salgotji' originates from the history of Taejo Yi Seong-gye, the founder of the Joseon Dynasty, and his son Yi Bang-won.
