Yonsei-ro

Yonsei-ro, stretching from Sinchon Station on Subway Line 2 to Yonsei University, is the central street of Sinchon. Side streets branch out like roots from this road. Since Seoul designated it as a 'Street You Want to Walk On' in 1999, improvement projects such as street tree maintenance and installation of Sinchon street maps have been carried out. Street performances, showcasing the diverse talents of students and amateur artists, take place here, making it a plaza-like street full of youth and vitality. Various restaurants, fast food outlets, coffee shops, and stores are located here, and in the afternoon, street food can also be enjoyed. Across the road from Yonsei University, beautiful murals are painted.
