Seoullo 7017

Seoullo 7017 is a repurposed elevated highway that was originally completed in the 1970s as the Seoul Station overpass. When safety concerns arose, it faced demolition, but instead, the 'Seoullo 7017' project was launched to revitalize the area by recycling the overpass. It connects the previously isolated Seoul Station area and has been reborn as 17 pedestrian paths. The name 'Seoullo 7017' signifies 'the overpass built in 1970 reborn in 2017, transforming from a vehicle road in the 1970s into 17 pedestrian paths, and a 17-meter-high overpass built in the 1970s.' True to its name, Seoullo 7017 features 17 walking paths that link the disconnected city, injecting vitality into the stagnant area.

Seoullo 7017 is equipped with facilities such as an information center, rest areas, a magnolia exhibition hall, a cafe, the Seoullo exhibition hall, a rose exhibition hall, and a garden classroom.
