Beopanjjeongsa Temple, a large temple located in Mok-dong, Yangcheon-gu, was built in 1989 on a religious site within the Seoul Mok-dong apartment complex to commemorate the 100th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Korea and France. It is a modern urban temple. Situated in the city center, it is easily accessible by public transportation. The temple consists of four floors, and thanks to its modern construction, it exudes grandeur, unlike traditional temples commonly seen.
