Why travelers stop here
Cheonho Park is located in Cheonho-dong, Gangdong-gu, Seoul, and was established on June 20, 1998. This park was created after the Seoul Metropolitan Government purchased the factory site of the Pilot company, which was famous for fountain pens. Inside the park, there is the Gangdong-gu Public Library, which opened on June 26, 2008. The name 'Haegong' comes from the pen name of independence activist Shin Ik-hee, who was born nearby. Additionally, as a leisure center for local citizens, the park features an outdoor stage, a pond, a basketball court, and more. Every spring, the park is beautiful with azaleas in full bloom.
