The Korean Financial History Museum is Korea's first museum specializing in financial history, established by Shinhan Bank in 1997 to promote understanding of the country's financial development. It houses approximately 6,500 artifacts related to domestic financial history, including currency, and continues to collect, manage, and research artifacts, hold various special exhibitions, and provide professional financial education. Moving forward, it aims to collect and manage diverse historical materials, operate economic education that is easy and fun to learn, and serve as a comprehensive cultural space to promote Korea's financial history.
