Gageumcheolgyo Culture Park is located across from Eulji University Hospital in Ganeung-dong, Uijeongbu-si, Gyeonggi-do. Originally a disused railway site (US 39th Supply Route), it was a high-traffic area connecting apartment-dense residential zones with the Jungnangcheon Stream. After the railway was removed, the site remained vacant for a long time, detracting from the urban landscape. The park was newly created to transform this space into an urban green area with historical and cultural value, featuring a cherry blossom walking path, exercise facilities, and a memorial space.
