It organizes local traditional cultural events such as the bustling Dongdaemun-gu May Festival, Chuseok Community Folk Festival, and Cheongnyong Cultural Festival (靑龍文化祭) held annually for residents, and strives to provide cultural enjoyment for local residents by hosting various genres of cultural events such as regular club performances, historical and cultural tours, and literary contests. It serves as a cultural medium as a vanguard for the development of local culture in Dongdaemun-gu, encompassing tradition, history, and modernity.
