It is a representative stream of Daejeon, stretching from Bongmyeong-dong to Tapnip-dong. In particular, the area of Gapcheon in front of Chungnam National University and KAIST campuses is considered a popular picnic spot. With walking paths and dedicated bicycle lanes, it is constantly visited by people for exercise, walks, and cycling, and it is one of the beloved spots for Daejeon citizens, allowing them to enjoy the beautiful scenery of Gapcheon. Nearby attractions include Yuseong Hot Springs, Yurim Hot Springs, Expo Science Park, Daejeon Shinsegae Art & Science, Sungsimdang DCC Branch, and Hanbat Arboretum.
