Geumgwan Restaurant is a popular restaurant near Haeinsa Daejanggyeong Theme Park. It is a restaurant that satisfies with neat food and reasonable prices. The signature menu item, tteokgalbi (grilled short rib patties), is made with domestic black pork and is personally made by Master Woo Eun-mi, a tteokgalbi artisan. The patties are kneaded 300 times for a chewy texture and grilled over an open flame for rich meat flavor and abundant juices. Additionally, no flour, starch, or glutinous rice flour is used, and gardenia fruit, known as a natural preservative, is added. Besides this, the makguksu (buckwheat noodles) is made with a broth from domestic beef brisket, offering a clean and deep flavor, and the hanwoo gukbap (beef and rice soup) also uses only domestic Korean beef for the broth, topped with brisket as a garnish.
