Neukdo Island is a fishing village with two small hills, a village, and a harbor. Nearby are several inhabited and uninhabited islands including Mado, Choyangdo, and Haksseom. On the island, prehistoric shell midden ruins are worth seeing, and the sunrise and sunset viewed from the small breakwater are especially superb. It is also an island where you can enjoy a small drive, as it takes only about an hour to tour the entire island.
