The Soyanggang Cheonyeosang is a sculpture located between the Soyanggang Skywalk and Soyang 2 Bridge, symbolizing the song 'Soyanggang Cheonyeo' (Soyang River Maiden). The pedestal is 5m tall, and the statue is 7m tall, reaching a total height of 12m; its size can be appreciated up close. Standing on a water deck, the maiden statue holds her skirt with one hand and reeds with the other, with her coat strings fluttering in the wind. The lyrics of the song are inscribed on the pedestal. The famous lyricist Banya Wol, known for songs like 'Ulgoneomeun Bakdaljae' and 'Danjang-ui Miarigogae', wrote the lyrics of 'Soyanggang Cheonyeo' inspired by the scenery of the Soyang River.
