Doyu

Doyu is a noodle specialty restaurant located in Gwanghwa-dong, Jinhae-gu, Changwon-si, Gyeongsangnam-do. It is situated between Jungwon Rotary and Namwon Rotary in Jinhae, an area well-known for its cherry blossom festival. The restaurant has a cozy, home-like atmosphere and requires guests to remove their shoes before entering. The interior is not very spacious, with fewer than 10 tables. Visiting during lunchtime or on weekends often requires waiting. The signature menu item is Eolkeuni Kalguksu (spicy hand-cut noodles), featuring thick noodles in a broth with various vegetables, offering a refreshing and spicy flavor. The soybean noodle soup (Kongguksu), freshly ground upon order, is also a specialty here. Additionally, there are options such as meat noodles (Gogi-guksu), mixed noodles (Bibim-guksu), and dumplings (Mandu), providing a variety of choices. The nearby Jinhae Museum is a good place to visit after the meal.
