In Chuncheon's Samaksan Mountain, large and small waterfalls line the gorge, among which Deungseon Falls is the most famous. Entering the Deungseon Falls hiking trail reveals a narrow and deep gorge. The gorge, formed by the joints of quartzite, is lined with steep and sharp rocks, creating a mysterious atmosphere. The gorge and waterfall maintain a cool climate, making it especially popular as a summer resort. Deungseon Falls, along with Seunghak Falls, Baekryeon Falls, and Biryong Falls in the area, forms the Eight Scenic Views of Deungseon. The fastest route to Deungseon Falls is the course starting from the Deungseon Falls ticket office, which is close to Gangchon.
