Gubongsan is a mountain that surrounds the eastern part of Chuncheon-si like a folding screen, forming the boundary of Gamjeong-ri, Janghak-ri, and Mancheon-ri in Dong-myeon. It is named Gubongsan because it has nine peaks. The height is 441.3m, and from the summit, you can see the Chuncheon city center, Bonguisan, and Uiamho Lake in one glance. The hiking course starting from across the Gwannamdae Rest Area, passing through the summit, and continuing to Myeongbong is particularly popular. It is also known as the best place to enjoy the night view of Chuncheon-si, so on summer nights, citizens often visit here to escape the heat.
