Gaenam Neighborhood Park

Opened in 1971, this neighborhood park features various sports facilities, an outdoor stage, and a mineral spring. Notably, a 4km trail including a 1,023m barrier-free forest path has been opened. The eco-friendly barrier-free forest path is designed to allow visitors to enjoy fantastic autumn foliage while gently ascending and descending, and eco-friendly LED lights are installed throughout for safe nighttime walks. The Singjeongsan Forest Tour offers experience-oriented programs with forest interpreters, allowing visitors to breathe with nature and recharge their mind and body. Additionally, at the entrance of Singjeongsan, there is a children's forest experience center where kids can enjoy nature, and the kind explanations of ecological education experts add to the joy of a forest outing. Other facilities include a forest library, adventure play space, emotional experience space, imagination play space, and forest experience space. Within the park, there is a notable rock called Ureong Rock, which is said to have cried in ancient times according to legend, and is also called Gilma Rock due to its resemblance to a horse's back (a load carrier).
