Seosulla-gil

서울특별시 종로구 종로 150-3 (종로3가)

Destination briefing

Why travelers stop here

Seosulla-gil is a road connecting 150-3 Jongno, Jongno-gu, Seoul to 26 Gwonnong-dong. It was the path used by the Sulla (night patrol) soldiers responsible for security during the Joseon Dynasty. It is called 'Seosulla-gil' because it is located to the west of Sullacheong, the office that patrolled Jongmyo Shrine. Nearby are traditional popular tourist areas such as Ikseon-dong, Insa-dong, Bukchon, and Samcheong-dong. Along Seosulla-gil, there are many things to enjoy, including restaurants, cafes, and workshops. Especially in spring when flowers bloom and in autumn when the leaves change color, the stone wall scenery is beautiful, making it a popular date course and family outing spot. There are many places along the street where you can take great photos.
