The National Assembly Museum is a national museum that preserves and exhibits various materials related to the activities of the National Assembly from the Provisional Assembly to the present, as well as parliamentary democracy. The permanent exhibition hall of the National Assembly Museum is divided into two floors and consists of four rooms. The recommended viewing order is to first visit Exhibition Rooms 1 and 2 on the second floor, then go down to the first floor to view Exhibition Rooms 3 and 4 in sequence. Each permanent exhibition room is organized as follows: Exhibition Room 1 covers the practical achievements of the Provisional Assembly, which opened in Shanghai, China after the March 1st Movement, and the lives of independence activists; Exhibition Room 2 covers major political history and related legislative activities from the Constituent Assembly to the 12th National Assembly (9th Constitutional Amendment); Exhibition Room 3 covers the development of democracy with the 9th Constitutional Amendment in 1987 and the achievements of the 13th to 21st National Assemblies; and Exhibition Room 4 displays the speeches and activities of former Speakers of the National Assembly. The National Assembly Experience Hall serves as the starting point and orientation space of the museum. It is designed to resemble the main plenary hall of the National Assembly in line with the exhibition theme 'Hall of the People's Will, the National Assembly.' The museum orientation includes a video introduction to the functions and roles of the National Assembly and the museum, along with a plenary voting experience program, which is a core aspect of parliamentary activities. Additionally, the National Assembly Museum has a Children's Museum, which is an experiential exhibition space where children can learn about the National Assembly and democracy through play. Address: 1, Uisadang-daero, Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul (Yeouido-dong)
