Destination briefing
Why travelers stop here
At Gommak Sikdang, a specialty abalone porridge restaurant, the abalone porridge loaded with sesame seeds offers a rich, nutty flavor from the very first spoonful. The sea urchin noodles and hoe guksu (raw fish noodles), which carry a deep sea aroma, are also signature dishes here, and they are clean-tasting without any fishy smell. The restaurant uses fresh noodles, giving them a chewy texture similar to jjolmyeon, which further enhances the appetite. Live fish hoe is also a popular menu item, and because they draw up brine from 80 meters underground every day, you can enjoy even fresher raw fish. As a popular restaurant, basic side dishes are provided, but afterwards, you must get alcohol, beverages, additional side dishes, water, wet wipes, soup, and aprons yourself.
